| Characterization | UV-3030 is a ultraviolet absorber characterized by high thermal stability, low volatility, and colorlessness, making it suitable for polymer systems requiring high transparency and high processing temperatures. It exhibits strong absorption in the 280–320nm UV range while showing almost no absorption in the visible light region (>400 nm), rendering it particularly well-suited for the photostabilization of highly transparent polymers. UV-3030 can be widely used in engineering plastics processed at high temperatures, such as polyamide (PA), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and polyethersulfone (PES). It is especially compatible with polycarbonate (PC), effectively inhibiting UV-induced yellowing in fully transparent PC products and providing reliable long-term light protection. Whether in thick-walled panels or thermally extruded films, UV-3030 significantly maintains the original transparency and color stability of the material. Furthermore, UV-3030 can be used in combination with other light stabilizers (such as hindered amine light stabilizers, HALS) to further enhance the thermal stability, light stability, and overall weatherability of polymers through synergistic effects, significantly delaying material aging and color changes caused by UV irradiation. |
